Kids' Paradise at Linux Days 2026

Once again this year, we’re opening our doors to our youngest Linux fans! As you parents relax and immerse yourselves in the world of open source, attend talks, or chat at the booths, we’ll make sure your little ones never get bored at the Kids’ Paradise!

We’ve put together a colorful program for this year that combines creativity and fun—Easter crafts and new highlights

Since Easter is just around the corner this year, it’s the perfect time to get crafting: Together, we’ll create personalized Easter decorations.

Another absolute highlight will be our balloon Tux—we can’t wait to see the children’s eyes light up as their very own penguin takes shape!

Of course, we can’t leave out the all-time favorites from recent years:

  • Painting plaster molds: a popular activity with kids every year.
  • Magic shrink wrap: First, color it in creatively, then marvel as it shrinks in the oven into little works of art
  • Fluffy friends: Both the popular Pompon-Tux and the cute Easter chick are waiting to be crafted by the kids
  • Creative Corner: Countless iron-on beads, colored pencils for our Tux coloring pages, and a selection of exciting books invite you to linger and browse

Energy for Little Explorers

Anyone who’s busy crafting, painting, and playing naturally needs a snack now and then. We have small snacks and refreshments ready so that batteries can be quickly recharged for the next adventure.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you and your children to Linux Days 2026! And of course, you can craft something together with your children in the Kids’ Paradise and take a souvenir home with you.
